Web Designer Insurance

Case Study

“Jason has recently organised my business insurance and I have only praise for him and the way he runs his business. His attention to detail is impeccable, and he is extremely knowledgeable in his field.
Additionally to this, we’ve been in the process of an office move, and our new landlord asked for proof of liability insurance. Our certificates were produced with our company name, but without the “Ltd” part, and they deemed this to be insufficient. A quick call to Jason late on a Friday afternoon and by Monday afternoon I had all the documents I needed.
Thank you for a pleasant and straightforward experience!”

A web designer was concerned that clients may not get the results they expected from their website. This could only be down to an innocent mistake yet sometimes clients have expectations that are not made clear.

Cover was required for legal defence costs following such allegations, cover for subcontractors who still needed to be paid and lost fees if an innocent error needed to be corrected. Additional cover was provided for compensation awarded to complainants if the courts thought it appropriate.

He also wanted to cover his office equipment and the cost of hiring a new one if his premises were taken out of action.

The solution included indemnity, cyber liability, office insurance, legal expenses, alternative accommodation, equipment damage and contractual liability.
