Case Study
A solicitor referred me to an investor buying a large ‘aparthotel’ in the heart of the luxurious neighbourhood of Kensington. Due diligence required insurance checks to be carried out, and these had to be arranged quickly in order for funding to be provided. The investor was also based in Asia, which meant that the work had to be carried out the UK.
Over the course of our research, we identified new cover requirements that would be suitable for this investment. We obtained quotations and explained the terms, conditions and likely exclusions. The cover was discussed with the bank, as their co-operation was required in order to complete the purchase.
We included many important insurance products such as property damage, property owners’ liability and loss of rent for our client. We slashed the annual premium by 30% and after- sales services included providing new documentation to all parties.
The policy was delivered to the manager on site to ensure the people on the ground understood the policy.
